Matthew DeCamp

Matthew DeCamp (BS, Purdue University) is an MD/PhD student in the Duke University Medical Scientist Training Program. His graduate work in the Department of Philosophy has included research on the ethical issues raised in population-based and behavioral genetics research. Future research efforts will focus on the relationship between intellectual property rules and international distributive justice in global health.  He has worked with Duke's Institutional Review Board, Center for the Study of Medical Ethics and Humanities, the Center for Genome Ethics, Law and Policy, and the Program on Global Health and Technology Access.
