Research Interests:
Dr. Guang Guo is interested in the genetic and social/cultural/contextual origins of human behaviors including human health behaviors. The focus of geneticists is mostly and understandably the discovery of genes, genetic effects, and the mechanisms of genetic effects. Dr. Guo’s overarching objective is to advance social sciences through incorporating findings and applying methodology in molecular genetics. He has applied this approach to delinquency, risky sexual behavior, alcohol use, and obesity.
