Cécile started the UNC Cancer Genetics Services in 1996 and has seen it grow now to a very collegial and efficient team integrated with many multidisciplinary clinics. Her interests are in hereditary predisposition to developing breast and ovarian cancer and more recently in genetics of GI malignancies. She enjoys teaching and is interested in ethical dilemmas that sometimes accompany genetic testing. Outside of work, she enjoys hosting and going to parties, hiking and dancing.
